Water Damage turns into Mold Damage

Where there's water damage, there's a possibility of mold damage.

The broken tiles on this roof caused a leak that gradually allowed water into this room. The homeowners did not know there was a leak until a storm lasting a couple of days was too much for the paint to handle.

When the paint was removed SERVPRO of Alamo Ranch technicians found mold behind the drywall. They immediately stopped all mitigation and built a containment in the affected room. They also contained the hallway to keep people out of the area where they would be working to remove the mold.

Once the mold was removed the drying process of the wall could be started up again.
